Most travel content looks like a brochure: a list of places, a price and a phone number. The posts that get people to message you usually do something different. They let the viewer imagine one specific moment.
Formats worth testing
- One moment, fifteen seconds. Sunrise at a specific spot, a particular meal, the first view from a room. Pick a single moment and let it breathe.
- "Who this trip is for." Honeymooners, a family with grandparents, solo women travellers. Speaking to one person makes the right people feel seen.
- What is included, shown, not listed. Ten seconds of the transfer, the stay and the guide beats a bullet list.
- An honest "what to expect" clip. Weather, crowds, walking distance. It builds trust and filters out the wrong enquiries.
Where AI video helps, and where it should not
AI-generated video can turn a concept into a visual quickly, which is useful for testing hooks and for destinations you cannot film yourself. But do not show places, rooms or experiences you cannot actually deliver, and label AI-generated visuals as such. Trust is the asset in travel, and one mismatch on arrival costs more than any ad saved.
